Family Mosaic Art Experience

Bring the family to the Taste of DC Maker Academy for a colorful hands-on art adventure where kids and parents can create, learn, and design together. Mosaic Art Lab (Family Edition) is a creative workshop that introduces families to the timeless craft of mosaic art while giving kids the chance to design their own bright, tile-based masterpiece to take home.

During this interactive 90-minute class, families will learn the basics of mosaic design and tile art, using colorful tiles, stones, and decorative materials to create custom mosaic coasters or mini art pieces. Kids will experiment with shapes, colors, and patterns while learning simple design techniques that help bring their creations to life.
