Fire up your summer evenings at the Taste of DC Academy with a hands-on class dedicated to one of America’s most beloved comfort foods: the perfect burger. In this interactive 90-minute culinary experience, guests will learn the techniques behind crafting juicy, flavorful burgers while exploring how different styles pair with a range of craft beers.

Guided by an instructor, you'll dive into the fundamentals of burger building—from selecting the right grind and fat ratio to shaping patties for ideal texture and cooking them to achieve the perfect sear. Throughout the class, you'll explore a few distinct burger styles, learning how different toppings, sauces, and preparation techniques create unique flavor profiles.
